Some couples are simply destined to meet, no matter how much life tries to take them down different paths, and Stefania and Stefano are one of those couples.<\/span><\/p>

Stefania was an artist successfully running her advertising agency in Rome, pouring passion and dedication into a business that fully consumed her. Stefano, on the other hand, was an entrepreneur always ready to take on new challenges and navigate the countless difficulties of doing business in Italy.<\/span>
<\/span>After years of working hard to build their futures, both felt that something was missing\u2014until fate finally allowed them to cross paths.<\/span><\/p>

It was a chance encounter, one that wouldn\u2019t have happened without a series of coincidences, and from there, a love story began that continues to this day.<\/span><\/p>

However, such a vibrant picture needed a completely different frame, far from the routine and stress of Rome and Italy. So, one day, they set off for Costa Rica and never looked back!<\/span><\/p>

The first restaurant opened in Samara (Guanacaste) in 2009, and in no time, Gusto Beach Club<\/i> became the go-to beachfront spot for tourists and locals alike.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

In <\/span>2018<\/b>, they launched <\/span>Gusto RistoArte in Lindora de Santa Ana (San Jose)<\/b>, where Stefano\u2019s culinary creativity merged with Stefania\u2019s paintings, decorations, and Italian furnishings, transforming the restaurant into a modern <\/span>\u201cfood & art gallery.\u201d<\/b><\/p>

What many initially saw as a <\/span>highly risky gamble<\/b> quickly turned into a <\/span>dream come true<\/b>, crowned by a family of <\/span>four children (including triplets!), four dogs, and a few cats!<\/b> \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>

At Stefania and Stefano\u2019s restaurants, you\u2019ll find <\/span>top-tier Italian cuisine<\/b>\u2014even by Italian standards\u2014in an <\/span>eclectic and creative atmosphere<\/b>, the perfect fusion of their founders\u2019 personalities. But more than anything else, you\u2019ll feel <\/span>right at home, surrounded by the passion they put into everything they do<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

I believe my passion for the culinary world was sparked by my grandfather, who was a renowned Italian pastry chef in his time. I was mesmerized by the things he made and explained to me, and this led me to attend several cooking courses.<\/p>

Over the years, I continued to study and nurture a boundless passion for the restaurant industry. However, the family business and other career opportunities always kept me farther from the kitchen than I would have liked.<\/p>

Then I met Stefania<\/strong>, and perhaps at that moment, I realized that nothing in life is guaranteed, and I had the chance to choose what would truly make me happy<\/strong>.<\/p>

When we arrived in Costa Rica<\/strong>, initially just to explore rather than to move permanently, Stefania and I immediately sensed the possibility of turning a lifelong dream into reality<\/strong>\u2014a dream I had been harboring (not so secretly) for a long time. That\u2019s how “Gusto”<\/strong> was born.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

At our restaurants, I want to bring not only authentic Italian culture, with the recipes and ingredients of my homeland, but also a culinary experience that makes every guest feel pampered and, of course, amazed by the flavors of every dish we serve.\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Even today, after many years, I remain the Executive Chef of Gusto restaurants<\/strong>, creating new recipes\u2014using mostly 100% Italian and locally sourced ingredients<\/strong>\u2014revisiting them periodically, and ensuring that the quality of our cuisine remains at the highest level.<\/p>

Some have asked me if I dream of earning a Michelin star<\/strong> one day. The spot is unique since is at the very beach with great chairs and the greatest staff, mu family don't have words to thank you all. Massimo, Randall, Beatriz and everyone else make us feel like family.<\/p>\n

Gusto Beach Club has the best beach view setting in Samara for an early breakfast, a relaxing lunch and an exceptional dining experience. 16 of us enjoyed a multi course dinner with perfect wine pairings and everything about the experience was \"dining at its finest\". The service was fast, accommodating nd friendly, the wines were world class and every course of the meal had us convinced that the chef was having fun showing off his skills. Every dish left us impressed, but the one that stood out as a true masterpiece was the Seabass Carpaccio!
